  1. This article is a very strong worded piece, these words deserve more than just a piece of paper. The sentence “One word here will be one word too many. Two thousand more won’t be enough.” is very strong because a 9 year old girl and the 6 other people who lost their lives because of a person who wanted a congresswomen dead. There really are no words that can sum up this little girls life, but the ones of her family. I feel for Christina Green because if i was killed at 9 I wouldn’t of lived my full life and neither did she. Another line that stood out to me was “whatever she was meant for, she was not meant for this.” this also is a strong line because I don’t know any 9 year old girl that’s meant to be killed in an assassination attempt on a congresswomen or actually any assassination at all. Who really knows what Christina would've became? It’s not her fault she was there on that unfortunate day for no reason at all, she was just a spectator their because of what she might have wanted to be or what she would've became. But to the other 6 people that lost their lives they were just spectator their as well, but their time has come, but not gone because the lives of Christina and the 6 other people will live on not physically but in the memories they are known for and what they would've been.

  2. This article i found to be crazy, one for this little nine year old girl had to witness this traumatic event. Two that some random twenty year old kid decides because he doesn't agree with this congresswomen he is going to strike her down in cold blood. i think ti is interesting how this author uses many examples to shoe that he has no idea what to think he uses alot of opposites. Such as "I wonder what it is like to live inside all the contradiction of our freedom and violence." I though that this was a very powerful line for the fact that he is saying, that even though our freedom is good it can hurt us at times also creating violence. i find it hard that this little girl who is of only nine years old is going to remember this for the rest of her life. Even when she is old herself she will probably remember this disgusting event that happened when she was a little kid. How could this twenty year old do this just because he didn't agree with the decision that the congresswoman made, strike her down and not even think about it or do this in the first place. I hope he thinks about that day and grieves every day for the rest of his life...

  3. Justin, it seems like sometimes life is random and terrible.

D'artanyn, the little girl died. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
